In a general scene, an unknown number of objects show up, move around, and disappear dynamically. However, the number and capabilities of observation stations are limited. To cope with such dynamic complicated situations and fulfill meaningful tasks, a CDV system should have sophisticated dynamic task sharing and switching mechanisms, whose design and implementation are a major goal of the project. We are studying cooperative distributed problem solving algorithms by introducing real time features into the distributed blackboard architecture[12] and the contract net protocol[13].
